Green ProAction Cafe #3: Join us to celebrate resilience-building accomplishments, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.Thursday, August 27
Green ProAction Café #3 is the third in a series of three gatherings intended to grow the number and diversity of residents engaged in dialogue and action focused on building a healthy, sustainable and resilient community. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, learn about creative initiatives and explore ways to be involved! Please come and bring a friend.
In this third ProAction Café, we’ll recognize and celebrate endeavors and accomplishments of 2015, and we’ll share our hopes for the coming year. We’ll also enjoy food, music and laughter. Help us shine the spotlight on the good resilience-building work of the past year and join us in celebrating it together as a community.
The ProAction Café is organized by Green Community Connections, along with partnering organizations and is partially funded through a grant from OPRF Community Foundation. The event is free and open to the public. Tentatively the location is planned for the beautiful, newly rennovated Thatcher Pavillion, in Thatcher Woods Forest Preserve, enter at 8030 Chicago Avenue in River Forest.
