Planning is underway for the 3rd annual One Earth Film Festival, the Midwest's premier environmental film festival, March 7-9, 2014. The festival is a production of Green Community Connections, a deep roots organization working for a sustainable future for our community. The festival fosters public understanding and discussion of climate change, sustainability and the power of human involvement. We want to grow its audience and impact: Will you join us?
Our 2nd annual festival screened 40 films at more than 20 venues over one weekend in March 2013. The 2013 festival drew more than 2,000 people, quadrupling the previous year's attendance! We want the 2014 festival to expand the environmental movement by attracting even more people. In addition, through the 2nd annual “One Earth . . . Our Earth” Young Filmmakers Contest, the festival will once again inspire the next generation to work toward a more sustainable future.
