The Village of River Forest will collect a wide assortment of items from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at River Forest United Methodist Church, 7970 Lake St. Electronics, scrap metal, housewares, batteries, light bulbs, school supplies, working bikes, medical equipment, pet supplies, and many other items will be accepted.
