A Community Conversation About Climate Change

  • Oak Park Public Library 834 Lake Street Oak Park, IL, 60301 United States (map)

Local residents care deeply about climate change - not only from a global perspective, but because a healthy environment is essential to strong, thriving neighborhoods. From 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, community members can learn how to take action with the Chicago Climate Report. Presented by the Interfaith Green Network at the Oak Park Main Library Veterans’ Room, the talk will feature Jamie Ponce, one of the leaders in Chicago Climate Partnership.

Ponce is Director of Strategic Partnerships with the City Tech Collaborative and previously served as Director of Innovation with the Environmental Law & Policy Center. Ponce will give a presentation about progress with the Chicago Community Climate Partnership. Immediately following the presentation, participants will engage in a community conversation about what we can do individually and collectively about our rapidly changing world.
